Responsibilities:- Maintain and repair restaurant equipment, including kitchen appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and electrical systems.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure all equipment is functioning properly and adheres to safety standards.- Perform preventative maintenance on all restaurant machinery to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and implement effective solutions.
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance services as needed.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding health and safety standards.- Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies to ensure availability when needed.
Collaborate with restaurant management to schedule maintenance tasks without disrupting daily operations.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
Train restaurant staff on the proper use and basic maintenance of equipment to prevent misuse and prolong lifespan.
Proven experience in maintenance and repair work, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality environment.- Strong knowledge of kitchen appliances, HVAC systems, refrigeration, and electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and vendors.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
