Job Description

Team Management:
  • Lead and supervise a team of engineers and technicians.
Assign tasks, set goals, and monitor team performance.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.
  • Project Management:
Plan, coordinate, and oversee engineering projects from conception to completion.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
Ensure projects meet technical specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Oversight:
Provide technical expertise and support to the engineering team.
  • Review and approve technical designs, drawings, and specifications.
Conduct technical evaluations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with other departments, such as quality assurance, and procurement, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Communicate project status, challenges, and solutions to senior management and stakeholders.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
  • Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all engineering activities comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Promote and enforce safety protocols and practices within the engineering team.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
  • Resource Management:
Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and tools required for projects.
  • Optimize resource utilization and minimize waste.
Monitor and control project costs to stay within budget.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including design plans, progress reports, and technical manuals.
  • Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Qualifications:


  • Education:
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field). A Masters degree is a plus.
  • Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of engineering experience, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing and completing engineering projects successfully.
  • Technical Skills:
Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to the specific engineering discipline (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, practices, and industry standards.
Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project).
  • Leadership and Management Skills:
Excellent leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Personal Attributes:
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Strong ethical standards and integrity.
