As a HSSE Manager, you will be responsible for developing the HSSE Management Plan, HSSE Philosophy and Targets, Safety Standards, Safety Case and to ensure that the PROJECT meets or exceeds the health and safety aspects of COMPANY HSSE expectations.
To succeed in this role, you should have experience in minimum of 15 years experience in HSE roles within the resources, construction and infrastructure sectors and minimum of 5 years experience as a HSSE Manager

What You'll Do
We are looking for a HSSE Manager to join our team in Indonesia.
The Role Responsibilities Include
- Develop the HSSE Management Plan, HSSE Philosophy and Targets, Safety Standards, Safety Case and to ensure that the PROJECT meets or exceeds the health and safety aspects of COMPANY HSSE expectations.
- He/she must challenge the design during all phases of the PROJECT, liaise between the discipline teams, coach the team members on Quality and Integrity issues, monitor and audit Quality performance, and implement continuous improvement/ apply lessons learned.
- Responsible for evaluating and monitoring construction contractors and sub-contractors HSSE performance and ensure compliance to OQ HSSE policies HSSEMS.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement comprehensive HSE plans, strategies, and procedures, aligning with industry standards and client requirements.
- Participate in incident investigations, root cause analyses, and reporting, striving to identify lessons learned and implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on HSE matters, acting as a resource for best practices and innovative solutions.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance with HSE standards, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations to enhance safety and environmental performance
- Lead and perform technical environmental, health and safety support including H&S evaluations of the construction methodology.
- Oversee the H&S management of all site-based project personnel, Contractors, sub-Contractors, visitors and the environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of HSE data, incidents, inspections, and audits, and compile reports for project stakeholders and regulatory bodies as required.
What You'll Have
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
- Minimum of 15 years experience in HSE roles within the resources, construction and infrastructure sectors.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a HSSE Manager
- Must have previous experience conducting and leading formal HSSE assessments, leading HSSE workshops, development of HSSE Plan, and setting performance standards.
- The HSSE Specialist shall have extensive field experiences in particular during EPCI stage and must have a working knowledge of applicable industry practices and regulations.
- Have sufficient environmental experience to cover any environmental issues, which may arise.
- Experience in Indonesian project or PMC Project is preferable.
