Facility Engineer
Work Dynamics - Integrated Facilities Management

  • Facility Maintenance: Planning and executing facility maintenance programs to ensure the proper functioning of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems. This includes conducting regular inspections, identifying maintenance needs, and coordinating repairs and preventive maintenance activities.

  • Equipment and Asset Management: Managing and maintaining all facility-related equipment, machinery, and assets to ensure they are in optimal condition. This involves creating maintenance schedules, tracking equipment performance, and coordinating repairs or replacements as necessary.

  • Energy Management: Developing and implementing energy conservation initiatives to optimize the facility's energy usage. This includes monitoring energy consumption, identifying energy-saving opportunities, and implementing energy-efficient technologies and practices.

  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards. This includes conducting regular safety inspections, addressing identified issues, and maintaining proper documentation related to safety procedures and maintenance activities.

  • Project Management: Overseeing facility improvement, renovation, and construction projects. This involves collaborating with contractors, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring that all work is performed according to specifications and requirements.

  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Assisting in the development and management of the facility's operational and capital budgets. This includes monitoring expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and providing input on budget forecasting and planning.

  • Technical Support: Providing technical support to facility staff and stakeholders regarding equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. This includes training personnel on proper equipment use and maintenance procedures.

  • Compliance and Documentation: Maintaining accurate records, documentation, and reports related to facility maintenance, equipment inspections, and repairs. This includes ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal reporting protocols.

  • Sustainability Initiatives: Promoting environmental sustainability by identifying and implementing green building practices and technologies. This may include monitoring water and energy consumption, waste management, and implementing sustainability initiatives.

  • Collaboration: Collaborating with other facility management teams, such as soft services, security, and administration, to ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and smooth facility operations.
