This role will primarily be responsible for biofuel feedstock origination and further optimization activities.
The role incumbent will actively partner with operations, risk and other functions like sustainability and regional offices through competitive feedstock sourcing, analysis and working in conjunction with regional offices to create maximum value for Ecoceres.
Responsibilities
Maintain good working relationships with existing incumbent suppliers.
Develop new suppliers and feedstock types within the country.
Establish partnerships with renewable players in Asia, and manage the quality specification and compliance, documentation, traceability, and other relevant requirements for EU and USA etc. bioenergy market.
Develop country feedstock strategy with regional office in order to meet the company's asset and trading requirements.
Oversee the shipment cycle from proposals to payment collection.
Conduct market analysis to stay informed on trends, competition, policies, and sustainability standards.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to streamline trade operations, sustainability management and risk management.
Maintaining communication with suppliers, competitors, brokers on a regular basis, collecting information of market, and policy/ regulatory outlook, with timely information reporting and feedback to regional offices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
Min. 5 years experience in renewables industry or trading preferred.
An industry domain expert with strong experience in managing large country/Regional businesses with min 5years relevant experience in trading environment.
Familiar with the Asia biofuel landscape preferred.
Familiar with the products and feedstocks sustainability and traceability certification preferred.
Willingness to learn and grow in the renewables field.
Strong attention to detail and excellent written/verbal communication skills are essential.
Time/task and priority management.
Ability to work under pressure and good problem-solving ability.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
