Role Purpose:
- Within the BST, this role is responsible for Finance especially in Account Payable (AP) activities within the cluster.
- Within the Finance domain this role may be involved into the different cluster performance topics such as building the cluster budget, product costing, defining CAPEX envelop and monitoring & reporting on investments.
Responsibilities:
- Build good coordination and teamwork with internal and external party to smoothen the AP process.
- Coordination with Operation Team - The receipt process must be correct (Raw material, Consumable, Maintenance part and service, material handling and production).
- Coordination with Customer Services Team for Sales recapitulation (invoicing), distribution cost (trucking and vessel) and also EXIM cost.
- In-charge for Vendor payment, cost adjustment and outstanding PO.
- Invoicing process and accurate recording of transactions.
- Accrual and reporting for closing purpose
- Monthly financial reporting within the deadline.
- Support in external audit and tax audit to provide required documents and data.
- Correct & accurate journal for every entry and input to ACCPAC system to minimize adjustment.
- Improve payment arrangement by maintaining good scheduling of payment to supplier and DPO can be improved on average through the year.
About you:
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or in a related field,or equivalent by experience.
- Prior experience as an account payable role in another international organisation
- English proficient verbal & writing
- Local language of the country of base and main operations proficient verbal & writing
- Other languages are an asset
