Position Summary:
Finance and Accounting Manager is responsible for managing Traditional Channel financial operations and accounting excellence by ensuring the Finance Team's daily operations and reporting procedures are executed according to the regulation, SOP, Accounting principles, and industry-specific rules.
Core Responsibility:
Finance Operation Management and Reliable Report
- Manage, lead, and review the work of the Accounting and Finance operations team members
- Responsible for completeness, accuracy and timelessness of bookkeeping and financial reports to ensure the quality of the financial report
- Overseeing the payment process, including the review and approval of payment requests, managing payment methods, and ensuring timely payment
- Overseeing the disbursement, deposit, and vendor payment to ensure the validity of the spending
- Monitor and evaluate aging reports, invoicing, collections, and cash applications, and maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable records
Financial Control
- Together with all functions, control the budget and monitor actual spending
- Coordinate the financial, operational, and compliance audits to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements
- Together with Risk & Fraud Management, detect, prevent, and handle fraudulent or anomalies activities
- Lead financial reporting functions to support financial operations, including implementation of policies and procedures to meet the organization's short-term and medium-term business objectives
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and funding to ensure the organization has sufficient liquidity to meet its obligations
Finance Process Improvement, Business Partner and Insight
- Provide timely and high-quality explanations on key financial indicators based on the business results, as well as provide recommendations on actions to be taken to improve the business outlook
- Analyze and interpret financial trends requiring management's attention, raise concerns to management and other divisions via appropriate channels
- Evaluate ad hoc projects for the transformation and change of processes and support any changes in business models and types
- Facilitate management's and other division's development in financial management and support them regarding financial matters to help them succeed in their respective roles
Position Requirement:
- Min. Bachelor's degree (S1) majoring in Accounting / Finance
- 5-7 years experience in operational accounting roles and min. 2 years as a Leader/Supervisory position from total working experience
- Experience in distributor company (Telco or FMCG)
- Experience in the Big 4 is an advantage
- Prior exposure to ERP systems is a plus
