Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop and manage financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure financial goals are met.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses.
Present financial information to executive leadership and other stakeholders.
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Manage cash flow and liquidity, optimizing working capital and ensuring adequate funds for operational needs.
Coordinate with tax professionals to ensure compliance with Government regulations.
Implement tax-saving strategies and initiatives.
Provide strategic financial guidance to support business decisions and long-term planning.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
Assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate exposure.
Develop and maintain robust internal controls.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA or relevant professional certification preferred.
Proven experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably in the retail industry.
Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
Excellent knowledge of ERP systems and financial software.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Effective communication and presentation abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
