This role is an integral part of the Group FBP&A team. This role will be key to drive insights into critical decision-making for the business which will support our effort to be not only a highgrowth organization, but also highly profitable.
The candidate will be required to work in close collaboration with a number of stakeholders such as finance, growth, business development, marketing, etc in order to plan, analyze, and monitor the overall cost of the business to ensure optimal efficiency can be achieved without compromising quality.
Responsibilities
Understand the entire arc of the business, particularly cost and its drivers
Responsible in periodical cost and budgeting report to support the whole FBP&A reporting tasks.
Perform a deep-dive analysis for costs to understand what drives the trend and if there is any deviation between projection vs actual, also provide critical assessment of those deviation.
Develop relevant metrics to be monitored for important cost items including the process needed for monitoring and perform cost management by working together with various teams in order to improve profitability.
Identify possible cost savings to improve profitability and create the cost saving plan to be implemented.
Perform analysis and provide insight on how to efficiently assign/allocate costs across entities in the Group.
Requirements
Minimum a Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or other relevant field.
5+ years of working experience, with background from Financial Planning & Analysis role in fast growing tech companies, Big 4 Transaction Advisory Services team, or Credit Analyst for Corporate/Commercial Banking (minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Big 4 audit firm is a plus).
Comfortable with numbers and able to perform data driven analysis to support decision making.
Proficient in operating Microsoft Excel as a tool for analysis and able to produce output/report which can be understood easily when presented.

SQL skills: Ideally, you should have the ability to self-serve, investigate and get the data we require for the analysis you perform.
Understanding of consumer financing in a fintech context: Experience and/or understanding of the consumer financing business, especially in a fintech environment, will be a major plus.
