About The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and driven Fleet Operations Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in operations and relationship management, which will both be critical as they design and build systems to manage major fleets across multiple cities in Indonesia.
A key part of the role is to identify and strengthen the partnerships used to expand carpool operations, repair networks, and EV charging capabilities. The candidate will be responsible for operational excellence across each of these, working across partners to set quality standards and hold teams to account when they are not living up to expectations. There will be a considerable strategic element to the role, as you will have considerable input about how best to design the overall system to get the best results.
There would also be opportunities to build internal capabilities where needed. If it is more effective for us to manage a key element of say driver acquisition, carpool management, or emergency response then you would expand the fleet organization to ensure those responsibilities are covered.
Your efforts will play a central role in building one of the country's largest fleets, and as you mature in the role we hope that you will be firmly entrenched as a GoTo operational leader, with substantial opportunities to grow within the organization.
What You Will Do
- Strategic Development: Craft and implement comprehensive partnership strategies that align with our business objectives, focusing on key growth areas within the car rental market
- Prospecting and Outreach: Identify and engage potential partners to explore collaboration opportunities
- Negotiation and Contract Management: Lead negotiations to establish partnership agreements, ensuring favorable terms while fostering a strong partner network
- Operational Process enhancement: Develop operational procedures related to both external parties and in-house operations to continually improve business performance
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal team teams like Procurement, Finance, and Marketing to develop joint strategies that leverage partner strengths
What You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
- At least 6 years of proven experience in operations, partnership management, and business development, preferably in the car rental and ownership program industries
- Strong operational and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities in the internationally exposed organization
- Analytical mindset with a focus on results
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Solid track record of stakeholder management
