Job description :
  • Leadership & Supervision:
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in daily operations.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the front-of-house staff.
- Lead by example, serving as a role model for the team.
- Manage shifts independently, ensuring smooth operations.
- Act as a point of contact for staff during shifts, providing guidance and support.
- Always driven with a clear mindset, strong, and motivating spirit.
  • 2. Customer Service:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly.
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
  • 3. Operational Versatility:
- Well-versed in all sections responsibilities, including hosting, food running, and on-floor service.
- Capable of stepping into any front-of-house role as needed.
- Effectively manage and perform under stressful situations, especially during peak hours.
- Able to manage assigned side duties and responsibilities well.
  • 4. Staff Training & Development:
- Assist in staff training, development, and scheduling.
- Conduct useful briefings and training to improve staff abilities and skills.
- Train and motivate new servers or subordinates.
  • 5. Policy & Compliance:
- Enforce restaurant policies, procedures, and standards.
- Fully concerned with legal matters, rules & regulations, and basic labor laws.
  • 6. Decision-Making & Innovation:
- Make necessary decisions to ensure smooth operations.
- Initiate new ideas and determine improvements for the restaurant.
- Self-motivated, always driven with a positive mindset.
  • 7. Operational Knowledge:
- Understand all aspects of restaurant operations, including products, human resources, costing, budgeting, customers, market, and strategy.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food service.
  • 8. Company Alignment:
- Understand the company goals and directions, aligning the team with the restaurants targets.
- Show concern and care for the restaurants and companys establishment.
  • 9. Operational Duties:
- Manage assigned side duties and responsibilities well.
- Conduct opening and closing procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed.
- Ability to work long hours, aligning with the demands of a restaurant environment.
  • Requirements :

Strong interpersonal skills to set the stage for positive interactions with employees and customers

Problem-solving skills to resolve staffing issues and handle customer complaints

Multitasking skills to perform a variety of duties during working hours

Oral communication skills to facilitate the sharing of information with coworkers and customers

Observation skills to spot issues on the floor and see that they get resolved promptly

Computer skills to operate HR, email, word processing, spreadsheet, POS, reservation booking and other software programs and apps

Relevant industry knowledge to share best practices with team members and provide service to customers

Ability to remain upright and move throughout the floor area during a shift

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
