Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Barista Captain at Ruma Coffeatery by Liberta Hotel International located in South Jakarta, Indonesia. As the Barista Captain, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the coffee bar, including preparing and serving beverages, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and training and supervising barista staff. This role requires direct on-site presence at our cafe in Jakarta.

Qualifications

• Barista, Food Preparation, and Customer Service skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated experience in managing and training a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to handle cash transactions and operate point-of-sale systems
• Knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing techniques, and latte art is a plus
• Food safety certification is preferred
