Our client, a brand-new boutique resort located in a stunning-nature beauty on the west side of Java Island, is actively seeking a high-driven and passionate General Manager.
As a General Manager, you are responsible for developing operational plans and strategies, establishing operational procedures and standards, leading and training the operations team and managing relationships.
Additionally, you will also play a crucial role in marketing and promoting the hotel, and driving profitability.
Requirements:
- Indonesian citizen only.

- A bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration or a related field is highly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in the hospitality industry as an operational manager or equivalent.
- Previous experience in handling a small operations team or similar businesses in Bali.
- Knowledge in business marketing.
- Strong leadership qualities are essential for managing and motivating a diverse team of employees.
- Excellent communication skills both in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Proven understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards governing the hospitality sector to ensure compliance and minimise legal risk.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of hotel or villa operations to ensure smooth functioning and exceptional guest experiences.
- Manage and lead the pre-opening project, including hiring, training, and other human resources activities.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards to maintain high levels of service quality.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among staff members.
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the owner and other departments to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Maintain the physical condition of the hotel facilities and oversee maintenance and repair activities.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability.
