GIS Developer is responsible for developing, designing, and maintaining GIS software and applications. Also responsible for integrating GIS systems with other applications and databases and ensuring that the GIS system is scalable and meets the needs of the company.
Responsibilities
- Create, developing and maintain GIS software application and tools based on requirement workflow from users.
- Provide advice, technical consulting, and the best improvisation solutions that meet business requirements and deliver value to end users
- Providing technical guidance and support to other teams and stakeholders in the organization
- Debug GIS application to ensure that it runs smoothly and effciently
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Technic Information, Information System, Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in GIS/GeoSpatial Projects.
- Proficient in programming languages such as JavaScript, PHP, Python.
- Extensive experience in Database Management (SQL, MySQL, PostrgresSQL)
- Familiar working with Map Services (GeoServer) and GIS Library (Google Maps API, MapBox, Carto, Leaflet)
