Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mandarin Procurement Purchasing Supervisor to manage the procurement of essential supplies and build strong relationships with suppliers. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing and evaluating suppliers to negotiating contracts, ensuring that our supply chain remains efficient and cost-effective. Fluency in Mandarin is essential as you will collaborate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers to maintain long-term partnerships and secure the best value for the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess suppliers to ensure they meet the company's quality, reliability, and compliance standards.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize the procurement of essential supplies and services, ensuring that all operational needs are met efficiently.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing terms, and delivery conditions with suppliers to secure cost-effective deals while maintaining quality and timely delivery.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages and surpluses, ensuring seamless supply chain operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster long-term partnerships, ensuring continuous supply of high-quality materials and services.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best procurement practices throughout the purchasing process.
- Provide regular reports and updates on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (S1) in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing, with a strong understanding of the end-to-end procurement cycle.
- Proven experience in supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and managing supplier relationships.
- Fluency in Mandarin, both written and spoken, is essential for communication with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to secure favorable terms without compromising on quality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
