The Global IT Data Analyst will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decisions and enhance operational efficiency. This role involves working closely with customers and internal teams to understand data requirements, identify business problems, and utilize data-driven insights to address them. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with experience in data management, analysis, and reporting, and a passion for leveraging new technologies to drive process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct data management activities in line with customer, company, contract, and regulatory requirements, ensuring high standards of data quality.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to gather and define data requirements for both new and existing applications.
- Analyze business challenges and define variables that can be predicted through data-driven insights.
- Utilize data to address business problems and support decision-making processes.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain multiple datasets, ensuring consistency, accuracy, completeness, and reasonableness of the data.
- Perform data analysis, generate regular reports, and deliver insights to management and customers to support business objectives.
- Present data management updates at internal and customer-facing meetings, ensuring clear communication of progress and challenges.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to optimize data management workflows.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong IT business and software knowledge, particularly in SQL Server, Python, PowerBI, Talend (ETL), Azure, and machine learning technologies.
- Results-driven mindset with a strong focus on data quality and accuracy.
- Proven expertise in data management, project management, and time management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering consistent, accurate results.
- Proactive in learning and exploring new technologies independently to stay ahead of industry trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a global IT environment, with a focus on delivering scalable and data-driven solutions.
