About the Role:
As a Head Chef, you will be a culinary leader responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene. This role involves menu development, team management, and collaboration with restaurant management to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities:
-Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
-Develop and implement innovative menus, focusing on seasonal and local ingredients.
-Manage and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
-Maintain inventory and order supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and cost control.
-Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
-Complete a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent qualification.
-Minimum of 2 years experience as a Head Chef in a high-end restaurant, hotel, or resort.
-Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
-Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
