The Head of New Business is responsible for identifying, developing, and driving new business opportunities to support the company's growth objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the digital landscape, market trends, and customer needs. The Head of New Business will oversee the full lifecycle of new business initiatives, from ideation and market research to product launch and performance tracking, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with corporate goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Market Analysis
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including emerging trends, market gaps, and customer needs.
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for new business development in alignment with the company's overall vision and objectives.
2. Business Development & Opportunity Generation
- Lead the development of new business ideas from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring profitability and scalability.
- Establish strategic partnerships with key industry players, technology providers, and stakeholders to enhance business growth.
3. Product Development & Launch**
- Oversee the end-to-end process of new product or service launches, including product development, pricing strategies, and distribution plans.
- Ensure that new products/services meet customer expectations and comply with industry standards and regulations.
4. Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Set KPIs and track the performance of new business initiatives, reporting regularly to senior leadership on progress and key outcomes.
- Analyze feedback, customer data, and market trends to refine business strategies and improve product offerings.
- Continuously assess and optimize new business operations to maximize profitability and market penetration.

- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing new business development team.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, strategy, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of launching successful products or services in the telecom, technology, or digital industry.
- Strong strategic planning, financial analysis, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities with a focus on building relationships and driving results.
