Your role and responsibilities

Understanding and contributing to the overall business and people Strategy. Determining and delivering the best approach in area of responsibility

Providing leadership and guidance to ensure that the area of responsibility is appropriately organized, staffed, skilled and directed

Representing HR in the business, establishing strong relationships with all business leaders and employees

Facilitating and ensuring success of change management initiatives across area of responsibility

Ensuring all employees understand ABB safety and integrity standards and act accordingly

Identifying and mitigating internal risk by assuring full compliance with all applicable ABB and legal regulations, including HSE

Showing strong adherence to moral and ethical principles and values such as honesty, honor, dependability, and trustworthiness

Coaching, motivating, and developing talent to build an effective, capable, and high performing team

Qualifications For The Role


  • Minimum bachelor's degree/ master's degree with minimum 10-15 years experience of related experience
  • A level of seniority and maturity required with ability to deal with/wear different hats as HRBP and Country Lead, not limited to lead and influence other HRBPs in other business areas
  • Strong knowledge of visa processes and requirements for expats, business visa, visitors, technical foreign workers etc
  • Good working knowledge of ID labor laws and requirements and up to date with changes, able to maintain accurate HR records/data
  • Good communication skills and able to collaborate with CHO and other division / region leads when required
  • A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
