    Position Overview:


    As the HSE Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the implementation and adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards within our organization. You will support the company in policy development, safety audits, incident investigations, and overall compliance with regulatory requirements and company directives.

    About the role

    Your Impact as HSE Manager

    Support senior management in the formulation and issuance of HSE policies and guidelines.
    Assist in defining organizational roles and responsibilities related to safety aspects.
    Ensure compliance with corporate guidelines by overseeing the implementation, updating, review, and auditing of HSE management systems.
    Monitor the effectiveness of safety and environmental procedures, ensuring their alignment with legislative changes and company policies.
    Motivate and educate company personnel on the importance of complying with safety procedures and using provided safety equipment.
    Conduct internal & external safety audits, in-house safety training sessions and 5S program.
    Lead investigations into accidents and incidents, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actions.
    Analyse accident and incident statistics to identify trends and develop improvement plans.
    Provide technical expertise and support to senior management on safety-related matters.
    Manage HSE improvement capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects and modification programs.
    Conduct risk assessments and provide safety advice and supervision on the preparation of safety plans and procedures for machinery, equipment, tools, facilities, and infrastructure.
    Ensure compliance with all HSE regulations and standards, including ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001.
    Oversee the security team and related security measures as part of broader HSE responsibilities.
    Good contractor management to meet the company compliance standards, and leverage awareness of the contractor to manage risk to acceptable levels

    About You

    Essential skills & competencies

    5 years experience HSE management within manufacturing industries.
    Bachelor's degree in engineering, Safety Management, Environmental Science, or related fields.
    Relevant certification for AK3U is required, SMK3 Auditor is nice to have.
    Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
    Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    Ability to assess risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement safety programs.
    Skilled in leading teams and fostering a safety-focused culture.
    Ability to analyse data and recommend safety improvements.
    Experience in managing HSE projects effectively.
    Commitment to improving HSE practices and technologies.
    Develop and implement emergency response plans.
