Oversee the implementation and day-to-day operations of the HSE management system, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and petrochemical-specific regulations
Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address potential hazards, non-conformances, and areas for improvement
Analyze incident data, investigate accidents and near misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
Participate in the development and revision of HSE policies, procedures, standards, and safe work practices
Manage the maintenance and update of HSE documentation and records
Stay informed of evolving HSE regulations and industry standards applicable to the petrochemical industry
Advise management on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with all applicable environmental and safety permits
What We're Looking For
Bachelor Degree from Engineering or Science/Workplace Safety & Health or of equivalent standard
Minimum 7 years of HSE-related experience in Petrochemical or Oil & Gas
In-depth understanding of HSE regulations and best practices
Have a good knowledge about HSE standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and SMK3 PP50)
Exhibits decision making skills
Maintains customer focus, while demonstrating courageous leadership
Ability to identify hazards, assess risks, and develop mitigation strategies
Experience in conducting safety inspections and audits
