RESPONSIBILITIES
Research, develop and manage comprehensive Demand Creation Programs for short- and long-term profitable revenue growth of Industry segments.
- Closely collaborate with Regional Sales Team to define and address business development targets within the region to meet the growth and revenue plans (i.e. participation in Regional Sales Meetings, solicit input regarding new Demand Generation and campaign plan requirements, etc.)
- Support sales on major product demos, virtual events, seminars and trade shows;
- Work with Integrated Marketing on execution of demand generation activities
- Measure success of strategy implementation through KPIs, adjusting implementation tactics as needed.
- Drive product launch activities in the field with cooperation of MarCom Team, Sales and PLM's (i.e. product launch packs, product launch campaigns email campaigns, product reviews, case studies & success stories & customer testimonials).
- Develop and manage promotional and I&O programs in alignment with sales and OPEX and Price Manager.
- Build recognized segment expertise by creation of segment-oriented marketing tools (i.e. application white papers, editorial content, application guides, segmentoriented leaflets).
- Grow customer's segment knowledge by participation in customer visits, segment news subscription and strong collaboration with Sales teams. Support sales teams on major product demonstrations.
- Generate and qualify leads by defining targets and identifying prospects
Build brand recognition in Industry market through expanding our capabilities to exploit Digital Media and Digital Channels
- Develop and proofread marketing content with support of PLM and Marcom teams to enable an efficient promotion of the core product lines (i.e. product trials, product demonstrations, trade in programs, whitepapers, seminar, application driven flyers
- Provide strategic guidance in selection of trade shows, road shows, seminars, conferences, and key-customer presentations for selected target markets.
- Ensure proper cross media representation of products and solutions
- Work with Marketing Communications to regionalize sales tools
- Write or collect articles for MSA eNewsletters and coordinate all needed actions to grow quality subscribers and maintain high opening and unique click rate.
- Collaborate with Web Team on SEO improvement process to achieve consistent page Search Results for market and application pages.
- Collaborate with Web Team to implement campaign related information on home pages. (banners, promotions, google AdWords, etc)
- Drive content creation for global and local news in social media.
- Increase MSA brand presence on Target oriented Portals by providing content.
- Establish contacts to main safety organizations in selected countries to influence opinion leaders and increase brand awareness in industry
- Strategically initiate, integrate and leverage demand creation tactics and tools including email, SEM, social media and other digital media
Manage locally the core product lines (HEFH & FP & FP S&S)
- Closely work with the global Product Marketing team to understand upcoming product launches or changes and address segment needs and changing requirements.
- Provide feedback on product gaps for the region (Voice of the customer).
- Conduct VOCs on new product included local products
- Local Execution of New Product Launch Plan
- Understand local standards regulations and provide feedback to ensure product compatibility with the market
- Support product compliance/local certification process
- Define local price positioning, support SPRs, provide inputs for yearly price increase
- Provide guidance to Operations for demand planning and forecasting activities (MELT, local forecast)
- Provide technical support for customer service and other internal customers
Develop and manage Channel Partners marketing and communication activities
- Create Channel Marketing Programs in collaboration with Distribution Managers/Sales Manager and Pricing Manager.
- Improve communication of marketing related information to distributors and implement where needed proper communication tools (i.e. distributor newsletter, distribution portal, e-commerce)
- Support distribution channel development through targeted activities and programs (such as local events, seminars and key customer requirements)
- Drive VOC/VOD activities to improve Integrated marketing activities and support channel partners revenue growth.
- Support distribution channel development through targeted Distributor Catalogue and Website
Upskill and support the customer facing functions
- Develop strong training materials and conduct training both internally and externally.
- Provide technical support for Customer Service and other internal customers.
- Develop and maintain appropriate expertise related to specific products and application
Gather and monitor competitive landscape and market intelligence
- Provide insight into competitive activities, market changes and new market opportunities.
- Stay abreast of market trends and competitive landscape through all available resources (online, trade publications, industry reports).
- Conduct intelligence data gathering by performing VOC/VOD to provide decision support regarding market opportunities and related marketing initiatives.
- Monitor promotional actions and campaigns of the competitors.
- Be an active member of Community of Practice to share and exchange information
- Consolidate and report on market conditions, competitive developments, industry and technology trends, market size and share by focused products and/or segment and market growth rates.
- Provide pricing suggestion to price manager based on market condition and product positioning
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- At least 5 years in Marketing within the Safety market in the region with focus on demand creation
- Experience of managing product lines from support through to outbound marketing to target market segments.
- Ability to work well across different countries
- Ability to work well cross functionally
- Excellent communication, analysis and high-level project management skills;
- Knowledge and understanding of PPE products and solutions
- Deep understanding of commercial safety, Route to Market & related applications
- Good technical writing skills
- Experience of managing product lines from support through to outbound marketing to target market segments
- 5 years business degree with specialization in Marketing or appropriate technical degree and relevant experience
