About the Company:
We are looking for a motivated Quality and IT Operations Manager to oversee and enhance the day-to-day operations of our strategic and operational solution delivery. This role involves managing the network, servers, and application platforms to ensure seamless service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT operations, software quality, problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience in leading IT operations for payments or fintech industries.
About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring system performance, availability, and scalability according to operational policies
- Lead OCC and NOC activities for the company
- Monitor and maintain infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and applications for round the clock operations
- Lead the implementation of operational policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and security
- Perform L2 support activities including troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents and issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders for smooth implementation of technology projects
- Optimize system performance through proactive monitoring, upgrades, and maintenance
- Manage and mentor team members to build a high-performing operations unit
- Create and maintain daily activity checklist for infrastructure health monitoring and service availability
- Monitor and take appropriate action to mitigate and correct IT operation anomalies
- Lead software quality delivery and test team to ensure all live applications perform within expected parameters and at the highest quality through activities such as load test and stress test
- Utilize available technology to automate day-to-day operation and quality initiatives to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
- Create periodic capacity plan to maintain operations and service availability at expected parameters
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in managing IT operations, preferably within the payment solutions or fintech industry
- Strong knowledge of EDC systems, monetary transaction gateways, and digital transaction processing
- Hands-on experience with networking, server maintenance, and cybersecurity best practices
- Experience with monitoring tools, troubleshooting techniques, and ITIL best practices
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
