Infrastructure Planning Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.
• Experience in infrastructure planning or similar roles.
• Good at designing and optimizing virtual environments.
• Strong client engagement skills.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud computing.
• Understanding of network security and compliance standards.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• Team collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of network architectures (LAN, WAN) and server technologies (SAN, NAS).

Responsibilities

• Design and plan the infrastructure setup.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security in designs.
• Develop project blueprints and estimates.
• Assess current tech capacity and plan for future needs.
• Work with tech teams and other departments to implement plans.
