The Installation Technician, Monitoring will perform the technical, logistical, and administrative duties required to install NK equipment into customer site. This position also performs emergency repair services, as required.
Essential Functions And Main Duties
- Serve as onsite lead for capital installations, manages 3 rd activities duties and communicates expectations.
- Train 3 rd party staff in basic duties related to cable pull, inventory, staging and installation.
- Perform high-level quality checks of all equipment prior to installation into a customer site.
- Perform WMTS system installations prior to go-live.
- Coordinate with tech support and/or sales admin, when issues cannot be resolved onsite.
- Troubleshoot and repair NKA capital equipment onsite and resolve network issues, when possible
- Install all capital equipment into customer site/department as outlined by the install design documents.
- Follow installation plans provided by corporate, communicates issues or variances, as required.
- Complete as-built documentation required for project closeout and communicates to the customer.
- Ensure customer is trained and knowledgeable of all equipment locations and components.
- Ensure all equipment is working properly, installation is neat and orderly, and customer is satisfied.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time based on business need.
Qualifications
Education / Certification / Experience Required
- Associate degree in electronics or related discipline; relevant education and experience accepted in lieu of degree.
- 2+ years of experience with installation; preferably in a hospital environment
- Basic cabling and construction principles
- Basic familiarity with networks
- Level and compensation depend on location, experience, education and skills
Competencies Required
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Detail oriented and deadline focused.
- MS Office, Sales Force, Smartsheet highly desired.
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing, and to receive and understand verbal and written instructions in English
- Able to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment
Compensation
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $23.00 to $33.00. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, experience and location.

Working Conditions
Schedule: The regular hours for this full-time position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday and occasional weekends, unless otherwise stated by the department manager. Holiday, weekend, and evening work hours may be required. Regular hours may vary due to the needs of the organization or department and are subject to change at any time at the Company's discretion.
Physical: Generally may require some reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying up to 50 pounds, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, standing, walking, sitting, hearing, visual acuity, and color vision. More specific details may be provided as needed or requested.
Travel: Approximately 100%
Access to Customer Sites: It is an essential function of this position to perform duties in healthcare facilities, and to achieve the necessary vendor credentialing. As part of this process, it is typically required to provide proof of vaccinations (including for COVID-19), and related personal medical information, and to comply with other criteria as needed to be able to work at customer sites. Typical vendor credentialing expenses will be paid/reimbursed by the Company.
