Inventory Executive
Position Purpose
The Inventory Executive role involves overseeing both finished goods and raw materials, ensuring accurate stock levels through proper receipt, issuance, and tracking. This role also entails collaborating with various departments to align production schedules, logistics needs, and financial reporting. By implementing efficient inventory processes, including cycle counting and stock reconciliation, and prioritizing initiatives that meet customer demands, this role is crucial in optimizing inventory levels, streamlining processes, and supporting overall business operations.
Key Duties/Responsibilities
- Leveraging sales forecasts and inventory data, this role will develop fulfillment strategies for loose picking orders. By analyzing these metrics, the ideal stock balance can be maintained, ensuring efficient order fulfillment and minimizing stockouts or overstocking.
- Manage the deployment plan to fulfill customer orders while optimizing warehouse space and minimizing costs.
- Resolve issues related to stock availability and system discrepancies.
- Assist with master data management and ensure the respective plant database is accurate and readily available.
- Provide timely updates on daily and weekly inventory reports (e.g., stock on hand, aging, cycle counts, reconciliation, etc.).
- Verify data entry reports completed by the inventory team, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Support and lead stock count activities, including preparation, reconciliation, and compliance with policies.
- Implement and manage FIFO/FEFO systems to ensure proper stock rotation.
- Oversee physical disposal programs and generate reports on material write-offs and stock adjustments.
- Oversee the return process, working closely with the settlement team for timely resolution.
- This role involves active participation in department-wide initiatives to enhance operational processes and boost productivity. By identifying areas for efficiency gains and engaging in continuous learning, this role contributes to both personal and team development, ultimately driving overall improvement within the department
- Conducting regular inspections of warehouse facilities to maintain safety, security, and operational standards, while upholding 5S principles. Additionally, it requires the upkeep of accurate and current FG material master records and MRSL setups.
- This role involves overseeing daily staff tasks, attendance, and scheduling, including managing holiday and leave coverage.

Position Qualifications / Requirements
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in supply chain/Operations Management/Finance with a minimum of 3 years experience in a FMCG environment and warehouse operations OR Diploma in Supply Chain /Operations Management/Finance with a minimum of 5 years experience in a FMCG environment and warehouse operations.
- Location: Willing to be based in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan.
- Microsoft Office Tools, Warehouse Management System and SAP.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English & Bahasa.
- Willing to adapt to a fast moving and changing working environment.
- Self-motivated with minimal supervision and able to work as a good team player and leadership.
