Your day to day
- Engages with business stakeholders from the Product PCM and SFP Innovation functions to understand and document digital requirements for our next generation SFP devices and related services.
- Leverage knowledge and expertise to translate business ideas and requirements into IoT, Connectivity, Apps and/or Cloud requirements
- Provide business stakeholders with digital leadership & expertise, technology innovation & de-risking across horizons including delivering of smart, modular and secure technology
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of as-is product/services functionalities, including technical understanding of all components of hardware and firmware.
- Keep track of information security, regulatory & compliance requirements making sure that future devices and services are securely designed from the ground up. Ensures the information security best practices are understood and adopted by internal and external stakeholders
- Constantly collaborate with IoT and Consumer IT team members to deliver complete, high quality, secure and scalable solutions.
- Scout for new technologies, technology providers and share the relevance for them to be utilized in the PMI context.
- Manage budget and resources for assigned projects, keep track of budget execution.
Who we're looking for
- Bachelor or Masters degree in IT or Electronics
- Confirmed (8+ years) experience in IT solutions implementations.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in specific technology area(s) including AWS Cloud (Serverless, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, IAM, Kinesis, IoT Core), Connectivity (both wired and wireless), RESTFul APIs, IoT Core services, Mobile Apps
- Experience in IoT platform developments
- Demonstrated project Management and Agile proven experience.
- Experience with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence).
- Curiosity to explore how technology can create new or improve consumers experiences
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams to conceptualize products and services, leveraging data to drive original design ideas and decisions.
- Act as a business partner to key internal customers and manage relationships with them. Likely to involve using support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Consumer-centric approach and mindset.

- Ability to work independently while being a great team player.
- Preferred Requirements:
- Work experience in start-ups
- Holding patents for your own inventions
- Experience in Consumer Electronics
- Experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
- AWS Cloud certified professional.
- Relevant experience in prototyping and piloting new technologies
- Passion to continuous learning in a changing environment
- Knowledge and experience with RTOS like AWS FreeRTOS
