PVG is looking for a Lead Product Designer who's not just passionate about creating beautiful, intuitive products but also skilled in navigating the strategic landscape of product development. This is a role for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, blending creativity with analytical prowess to shape the future of our digital offerings. Responsibilities:

• Work with senior management to integrate UI/UX design strategy with our product roadmap, anticipating design trends and aligning with business objectives.
• Formulate best practices for design and research process across all product lines
• Serve as the bridge between design, product, and engineering teams to facilitate communication and collaboration throughout the product life cycle.
• Promote a user-first approach, guiding all design phases from research and prototyping to testing and implementation.
• Lead the creation of innovative designs that meet market demands and distinguish us from competitors, ensuring designs are user-friendly, business-oriented, and technically feasible.
• Direct user feedback and market research efforts to guide design choices and product strategy, prioritizing user needs.
• Cultivate a learning environment within the design team, mentoring designers and promoting creative and innovative thinking.
• Set and uphold high design quality standards, ensuring product experiences are consistent and align with brand guidelines.
• Clearly communicate design and product strategies to stakeholders, leading reviews to secure feedback and consensus.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of UI/UX design experience, preferably in a leadership role within a startup.
• Strategic insight into product development and design's role in achieving business goals.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in design thinking, user-centric methodologies, and design/prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Experienced in mentoring designers and building teams, with a commitment to nurturing talent.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of translating user needs and business objectives into effective design solutions.
