Summary
The Learning & Development Manager will oversee training activities, processes, and initiatives including induction, new hiring training, specialty team training, on the job learning and training delivery in addition to holding responsibility for quality strategies and initiatives and being a champion of Hyatts and Alila's standard & values and is responsible for the development and performance in delivering learning goals and objectives.
To help drive company values and philosophy.
To ensure all training and development activities are strategically linked to the organization's mission and vision.
To work with the property leadership team to identify organizational development needs.
To regularly update the learning & development communication board for all team members and assist with implementing and communicating all hotel policies and procedures.
To source and liaise with all external institutions and organizations for all appropriate external learning & development programs that Team members will be nominated for.
To provide counseling to team members including recommendations on training programs and cross-training
To plan the monthly training calendar and communicate with the team.
To be aware of the company standard training modules and deliver them based on the hotel's requirements.
To design the necessary programs as identified in the annual training needs analysis.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Excellent Communication and Management skill.
Passionate in Teaching & People developments
Minimum 2 years of experience in the development, implementation and administration of training, career development, competency development in a 5* hotel or resort setting.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
