Lecturer (Information Technology)
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lecturer to join our esteemed department. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in your area of specialization Information Technology.
Develop and deliver lectures, tutorials, for assigned courses within your IT specialization.- Create effective course materials, including presentations, handouts, and assignments.
Continuously assess student learning through exams, quizzes, assignments, and projects.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and guide them in their academic development.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in your IT field and incorporate them into your teaching.- Participate in departmental curriculum reviews and contribute to program development.
Maintain effective communication with students and address their questions and concerns.
- Advise and mentor students on academic and professional matters.
Participate in faculty meetings and departmental activities.
Master's degree in Information Technology (or a closely related field) is required.- Minimum of two years of teaching experience at the university level (experience in industry may be considered).
Strong commitment to teaching excellence and student success.
- Ability to develop and deliver engaging and effective lectures.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Proficiency in relevant IT software and technologies (depending on specialization).
