Primary Job Role :
As a Legal and Compliance Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to the company's operations. You will work closely with the Legal and Compliance Manager to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance, and will provide guidance and training to other departments as needed.
Job Description :
- Conducting any compliance matters based on the relevant regulations to the authorities (reporting, notification and/or obtaining approval).
- Reviewing, drafting and translating any legal documents (contract, agreement, amendment, circular resolution, E-GMS Minutes, and other legal documents).
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations that affect the company's operations, and ensure compliance with all applicable requirements.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and training to other departments on legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct periodic reviews and audits of the company's operations to identify and mitigate areas of non-compliance.
- Respond to legal and regulatory inquiries and requests for information.
- Maintain accurate records of all compliance activities and reporting.
Job Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in law, business, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in legal and compliance. Having experience in the financial industry or law firm would be a plus point.
- Strong knowledge of corporate laws, fintech laws, and data protection laws.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with compliance management software is a plus.
