Life Reinsurance Underwriter

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Medical with min GPA 3.00
• 3-5 years of experience in related fields (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
• Having an insurance background is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Familiar with data analysis.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in English

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct proper medical and non-medical underwriting process both treaty and facultative, according to authorization limit.
• Conduct risk identification and selection for Life reinsurance business.
• Create and review life reinsurance agreements.
• Manage and monitor all related documents accordingly.
• Maintain good working relationships with related business units on investigations process and review the risk feasibility assessment.
• Liaise and maintain good relationships with ceding and retrocession, including visit and sharing sessions.
• Providing medical views and/or opinions when necessary.
