Operation:- Operate lighting control systems during rehearsals and live performances.
Adjust lighting levels and effects as needed to enhance the production.- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with lighting equipment.
Perform routine maintenance.- Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and meets safety standards.
Keep inventory and manage the storage of lighting equipment.
Work closely with other production crew members to ensure seamless integration of lighting with other technical elements.
- Communicate effectively with the production team to meet creative and technical requirements.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree.
- Previous experience as a lighting operator or in a similar role in club, television, or live events.
Proficiency with lighting control systems and software (e.g., DMX, ETC, MA Lighting).
- Knowledge of various lighting fixtures, including LED, tungsten, and automated lights.
Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.
- Physical and Personal Attributes:
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
