Key Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise a team of assembly line workers to ensure smooth operations and adherence to production schedules.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities, monitor progress, and provide guidance to team members.
- Monitor the assembly process closely to ensure products are assembled according to specifications and meet quality standards.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks on finished products to verify conformity and identify any defects or issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements on the assembly line.
- Implement best practices and suggest changes to streamline operations, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity.
- Provide training and mentorship to assembly line workers to enhance their skills and knowledge of assembly procedures.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork among team members.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Promote and enforce safety guidelines among team members to minimize accidents and injuries.
- Communicate production goals, targets, and performance metrics to team members and management.
- Report on production progress, issues, and challenges to supervisors or management as required.
- SPM, STPM, Diploma or equivalent is typically required.
- Additional training or certification in leadership, lean manufacturing, or quality management may be advantageous.
-At least two (2) years experiences in line leader role.
-Proven experience as a Line Leader or similar supervisory role in final assembly production within a manufacturing environment.
-In-depth knowledge of assembly processes, tools, and equipment used in final assembly operations.
-Strong leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
-Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions.
-Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring product integrity.
-Work is performed in a manufacturing facility, specifically on the production floor overseeing final assembly operations. This environment may involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and machinery.
- The role requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting of materials or products. It involves physical activities such as bending, reaching, and operating equipment.
- Flexibility to work shifts as required by production schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
-The position may involve supporting cross-functional activities as directed by supervisors or management. This could include assisting in other departments or areas of the facility to meet production goals, address operational needs, or participate in improvement projects. Adaptability and willingness to adjust responsibilities based on superior arrangement are essential.
