Handle all cases arising out of various disputes, collection and provide the necessary support to various stakeholders in the resolution process.
Draft various dispute notices, claim letters, and other correspondence promptly and effectively
Develop and implement strategies to effectively manage litigation cases
Conduct case assessment, risk identification, and determine appropriate courses of action.
Maintain excellent communication and collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to provide updates on the ongoing litigation matters.
Participate in settlement negotiations and other alternative dispute resolution processes to protect the business interest of the organization.
Proactively coordinate and maintain relationships with external legal counsels as well as government authorities
Ensure the accurate and timely records of litigation activities by maintaining a litigation tracker with exceptional attention to detail
Stay abreast of legal developments, industry trends, and regulatory changes that may impact the business
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable university
Minimum 4-5 years of working experience at a law firm or multinational companies. Experience in litigation and tech companies would be an advantage.
Strong communication skills, with the capability to communicate complex legal concepts to both legal and non-legal audiences.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Capable of managing multiple cases efficiently and ensuring deadlines are met
Fluent in English both written and verbal
Occasional business travel is required
Having an Advocate License (PERADI preferred) is a plus.
