Methods Engineer

REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/CERTIFICATION:

1. Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering
2. Minimum 8 years experience in method engineering in the oil and gas industry.
3. Experience in offshore structure installation/operation. Capable to perform structure (jacket, modules, manifolds, templates, small items) installation/construction and design all installation Aids, in agreement and liaising with drafting department, lead method and vessel operation.
4. Knowledge of Discipline engineering design criteria, methods, and workflows from conceptual phase up to site engineering phase. Capability to perform and coordinate Project engineering documents production activities and to check and review design documents, prepared either internally or by Vendors.
5. Strong project management skills for developing and managing engineering schedules.
6. Experience in budget management for materials and services.
7. Competence in reviewing and approving technical designs.
8. Effective communication skills for coordinating with stakeholders.
9. Skilled in performing engineering verifications and calculations.
10. Ability to clearly document methodology activities.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Support the Offshore Method Lead in scheduling, problem-solving, and ensuring technical compliance with contract requirements.
2. Define tasks, specify materials, and approve designs for client deliverables within budget constraints.
3. Coordinate with stakeholders to review technical designs, adhering to project cost and schedule commitments.
4. Report issues to supervisors, perform engineering verifications, and oversee drafting of methodologies.
5. Document methodology activities, providing clear data for vessel operations.
6. Supervise offshore or yard activities as needed, ensuring equipment and materials meet standards.
7. Ensure that the operation people on board of the vessel receive all useful data in form of reports, manuals, drawings
8. Follow up activities offshore or in any construction place deemed necessary by the project
