About The Role
You will be part of the data team, and you will primarily be supporting the finance and StraitsX teams with their data requirements by leading a small-medium data related project, creating dashboards, reports. You will need to query large data and use various statistical techniques to interpret the results.
What You Will Do
- Extract and analyze financial and transactional records to provide data for financial and product reporting.
- Create interactive dashboards to deliver comprehensive insights into various product metrics.
- Lead data-focused projects and initiatives.
- Support the data audit process for both product and finance.
- Develop reports in collaboration with finance and compliance teams for financial reporting, reconciliation, and regulatory purposes.
- Investigate transaction anomalies in collaboration with finance, product, operations, and engineering teams.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Solid understanding of basic statistics.
- Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with data platforms such as BigQuery, Tableau, Metabase, or similar.
- Proficiency in R or Python is advantageous.
- Experience with financial data management is a plus.
- Experience in the cryptocurrency or payment industry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with data warehousing and data engineering is an added advantage.
