We are seeking a creative and innovative Motion Designer with a strong foundation in motion graphics and video production to join our team. This role will develop and execute motion design and video content for marketing campaigns and website assets, collaborating closely with our design and marketing teams to produce content that resonates with our target audience and enhances our brand's visual identity. As a key member of the design team, this role will also have the opportunity to shape the motion design direction at Vertical Institute, helping us elevate our visual storytelling across multiple platforms.

• Key Responsibilities

Mainly produce and edit high-quality video content for marketing campaigns, including promotional videos, student testimonials, and website and social media content.

• Ensure all motion design and video content align with Vertical Institutes brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design and marketing) to develop video concepts and strategies that align with our marketing goals and brand identity.

• Designing visual elements such as typography, icons, and illustrations that will be incorporated into motion graphics projects

Assist in video shoots, contributing to production setup, providing creative direction, and ensuring the visual and technical quality of the content aligns with our brand standards.

• Experiment with new motion design techniques and stay updated on the latest trends and best practices to continuously improve the visual impact of our content.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and meeting project deadlines.

• Support creative design projects to ensure cohesive branding across all marketing and educational materials.

• Requirements

Bachelors degree in Design, Animation, Film, Video Production, or related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in motion design and video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics and video production.

Proficient in industry-standard motion graphics and video editing software, such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.

• Experience in creating storyboards to visualize the narrative, plan shots, and define the overall direction of motion design and video projects.

Strong knowledge of animation principles, color grading, and visual storytelling.

• Solid understanding of video production, editing, and post-production workflows.

Experience with video production equipment, including DSLR cameras, lighting setups, and audio recording devices.

• Proficiency in Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other graphic design tools

Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.

• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
