Job Description:
- Receive incoming components and materials from suppliers.
- Inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet specifications and match purchase orders.
- Organize and store components in designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using manual or digital systems (e.g., ERP software).
- Retrieve components from inventory based on production orders or requisitions.
- Pack components securely for transport or assembly, ensuring they are protected from damage.
- Provide support to assembly line operations by delivering required components in a timely manner.
- Ensure assembly stations are stocked with necessary parts to minimize downtime.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment to move components within the warehouse or production area.
- Ensure safe and efficient handling of materials to minimize risks of accidents or damage.
- Conduct visual inspections of components during receiving, picking, and packing processes.
- Inspect assembled products to verify conformity to quality standards before packaging or shipment.
- Maintain records of inventory levels, transactions, and discrepancies.
- Report inventory shortages, damages, or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while handling components and operating equipment.
- Follow established procedures for hazardous materials, if applicable, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
-SPM and above or equivalent is required.
-Previous experience in warehouse operations, component handling, or assembly processes is preferred.
-Familiarity with inventory management software and systems may be beneficial.
-Proficiency in using warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
-Ability to manage inventory effectively and maintain accurate records.
-Thoroughness in inspecting components and ensuring accuracy in picking, packing, and assembly.
