Job Summary:
The National Sales & Marketing Manager - Orthopedic will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve sales targets, expand market share, and promote orthopedic products across the country. This role requires strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of the orthopedic market, and the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development:
o Develop and implement national sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
o Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
o Set sales targets and performance metrics for the sales team.
Team Leadership:
o Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
o Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
o Foster a positive and high-performance culture within the sales team.
Customer Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including hospitals, clinics, and orthopedic surgeons.
o Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
o Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty through exceptional service and support.
Business Development:
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
o Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
o Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the company's products and services.
Sales Operations:
o Oversee sales operations, including order processing, inventory management, and distribution.
o Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
o Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.
Compliance and Ethics:
o Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
o Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Education:
o Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
Experience:
o Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the medical devices or orthopedic sector.
o Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Skills:
