Role Description
This is a contract, on-site Network Security Engineer role located in Jakarta, Indonesia. As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, implementing, and supporting the network security infrastructure. Your day-to-day tasks will include monitoring network security, conducting regular security assessments, implementing security measures, and resolving security breaches.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proficiency in network security protocols and technologies
- At least 5-10 Year experience for Network Security
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting secure networks and security solutions.
- Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access control lists
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and VPN
- In-depth technical knowledge on infrastructure and network security products, Firewall, including Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, Cisco IronPort, McAfee Web-Gateway, TrendMicro TippingPoint, IDS/IPS (Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems), encryption protocols, security best practices, and advanced network security concepts.etc.
- Ability to conduct security assessments and penetration testing
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, equipment specifications, and maintenance schedules.
- Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment needed for service calls.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Communicate with clients or customers to understand their needs, explain technical issues, and provide instructions or training when necessary
- Relevant certifications are a plus
