Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room, surgical equipment, and instruments for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons during surgeries by handing instruments, monitoring patients, and providing necessary support.
- Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room to prevent infections and ensure patient safety
- Monitor patient vital signs, anesthesia administration, and post-operative recovery in collaboration with the surgical team.
- Document patient information, surgical procedures, and post-operative care accurately and timely.
- Provide emotional support, education, and guidance to patients and their families throughout the surgical process.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (STR) license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent from an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in perioperative nursing or operating room settings.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and patient care in the operating room.
- Excellent communication skills, teamwork abilities, and adaptability in high-pressure environments.
