Job Description
PT.Mitra Utama Logistic is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operational Feeder Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the operational aspects of our feeder services, ensuring efficient and effective cargo handling and vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage stowage plans for feeder vessels, ensuring optimal cargo distribution and vessel stability.
- Oversee the loading and unloading processes, coordinating with terminal operators and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Utilize advanced stowage planning software such as iStow, Fast Load, and similar applications to enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of feeder services, implementing improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless operational workflows.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the operational team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all maritime regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Nautical Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in stowage planning and feeder vessel operations.
- Proficiency in using stowage planning applications such as iStow, Fast Load, or similar software.
- Possess a valid ANT-III (Ahli Nautika Tingkat III) certification.
- Strong understanding of maritime regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
