Job Description
Supervise and control Tire changing activities which support Mine machinery activities to ensure machinery optimum performance can be achieved efficiently.
Job Responsibility:
1. Meet requirements as set out by PTFI management to ensure safe operation of tire shop facilities in professional manner.
2. Supervise, communicate, train, and control manpower and workload to meet the goals and objectives efficiently.
3. Prioritize work requirements and maintain record keeping in order to keep track of every tire location and life span.
4. Assist inventory control and projection of future needs, understand tire specification and design to monitor and improve tire performance.
5. Plan and schedule tire management in order to minimize unnecessary tire spending and to work within allocated budget.
The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:
Minimum High School - 10 years experience in heavy tire industry, large truck operation exposure.
