Coordinate, plan, monitor and evaluate Ore Flow instrumentations crew and electrical maintenance activities which are performed by related subordinates to conduct safe operations and to lessen premature failures, lower costs and extend the life of equipment in Crusher & Conveyor. Operating and maintaining all Ore Flow systems and equipment.
The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:
- Direct and work alongside the work crews to ensure work is done in a safe, productive manner with quality of workmanship.
- Conducting Ore Flow Instrumentation activities within the assigned area, including installation and modification activities in order to meet availability target of equipment and high reliability of instruments.
- Coordinate, control, supervise and monitor the implementation of Ore Flow instrumentations tasks in buildings, shops, plants or any equipment under related work areas.
- Monitor and direct instrument maintenance activities involving control devices at the assigned areas, including planned and unplanned, in order to meet equipment availability target.
- Communicate, organize, and control the implementation of company's safety and environmental policies and procedures, in order to ensure subordinate, perform their duties in a safe manner and environmentally conscious.
- Perform final check on repaired and/or used instrument, in order to ensure the entire instruments are reliable for the operation.
- Provide monthly report and weekly report on the summary of all the reports that are submitted by subordinates that contain all the electrical maintenance activities and the issues as well as the solutions, budget usage, and safety accountabilities, to be reviewed by superior.
- Identify and analyze breakdown, repair broken instrument, in order to ensure the root causes of the problem to be fixed appropriately, effectively and efficiently.
- Monitor spare part and component condition, in order to determine whether the spare part and component are still reliable or should be replaced as an effort to extend the spare part and component utilization period.
- Provide suggestions to superior on annual budget development by giving inputs on the budget proposal, current budget, and planning and targets, to assist the superior in annual budget planning
The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:
Minimum Education And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in electricall engineering or related fields with minimum work experience 5 years.
- D3 in electrical engineering or related fields with minimum work experience 8 years.
- Equipment knowledge.
- Computer literacy.
- Experience in reading technical data for equipment and documenting changes.
