Key Responsibilities
Job Analysis/Evaluation:
- Participate in designing and maintaining the job matrix of all jobs in the organization. Investigate job evaluation requests from stakeholders, finding out the rationale for evaluation to ensure appropriate upgrade of roles. This would include reviewing requests from line management on upgrading roles and proceeding to relevant recommendations by evaluating new job descriptions, putting them into the job matrix, and checking the consistency of job descriptions with internal policies and procedures.
- Maintain internal equity across Group-wide job evaluations through sound and consistent application of Job Evaluation (JE) framework, standards, processes, and tools, including in-depth analysis/assessment of job context and content, and sound rationale and internal comparisons for all job evaluation submissions.
- Advise on the correct job titles as per established company guidelines to ensure consistency and alignment with the rest of the Group.
- Propose the design of new structures and jobs as well as the development of teams, departments, divisions, sections, and overall organizational structure.
- Design job creation training for managers and HR Business Partners.
- Ensure that the Database and all systems are continuously and accurately updated as per the latest changes. Collaborate on executive/non-executive job matching sessions with the Remuneration and Recruitment team to ensure validity and accuracy in job analysis and compensation/recruiting information.
- Research other organizations practices - locally, regionally, and internationally - to benchmark key areas and report findings on areas of improvement.
Organization Structure:
- Develop, propose, facilitate, and contribute to the design of rules for organizational structure creation and ensure implementation of organization design processes in partnership with line management and HR leadership.
- Diagnose potential organizational problematic areas in terms of reporting lines, position titles, roles, and structure, and discuss corrective actions.
- Assess organizational needs through interviews with all stakeholders and work with senior management to develop and maintain a strategic business plan.
Culture Change:
- Design organizational values.
- Lead culture change programs.
- Design and deliver behavioral interventions.
Audit Function:
- Conduct regular audits of the organizational structure, recommend changes, and identify duplication of roles in order to make the organization structure leaner and more efficient.
- Audit the business units as potential changes of job descriptions are identified.
Total Remuneration (TR):
- Measure, evaluate, control, and classify jobs thereby establishing the basis for ranking jobs across the board. Review roles grades across the organization and compare job contents to ensure consistency of grading for similar roles found in different departments.
- Cooperate with TR Specialist on the grading of job positions and assign the correct optimum salary.
Other Projects/Tasks: Participate in HR projects and organization-wide projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in any major but preferably in Psychology, Management, or Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years focused experience in developing and managing Organization Design and key HR processes such as Total Remuneration and Performance Management.
- Understands how to design roles and structures that enable better organizational performance.
- Understands behavioral science the way people think, interact, and behave as individuals and groups and knows how to enable behavior and culture change.
- Knows how to use their own insight, perception, judgment, and personality to influence and support organizations to change their thinking and behavior to be their best.
- Proficient in English both speaking and writing, have an IT background, have experience in collaborating and dealing with multicultural people and environments (global/multinational companies).
