Planner 2, Production Planning

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing production schedules to meet customer demand and production capacity.
• Coordinating with departments such as purchasing, manufacturing, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Monitoring inventory levels to prevent overproduction or shortages.
• Adjusting plans based on changes in customer orders, supply chain issues, or production delays.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or industrial management

Experience:

• 2 to 5 years of experience in planning, scheduling, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle) or other planning software. Prior experience in demand forecasting, inventory management, and production scheduling.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong analytical skills to analyze data, forecasts, and performance metrics. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables) and other data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teams such as procurement, production, and logistics.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles may be an advantage.
