Develop and manage the plant's annual budget in alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
Conduct regular financial analysis, variance analysis, and performance assessments to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Prepare accurate financial forecasts and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Cost Control and Optimization:
Monitor and control manufacturing costs, including direct labor, overhead, and material expenses.
Collaborate with production and procurement teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce wastage.
Implement and maintain cost accounting systems and processes to ensure accurate tracking of costs.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations, company policies, and GAAP standards.
Assist in coordinating internal and external audits and address any audit-related issues.
Inventory Management:
Oversee inventory management processes to ensure proper valuation and accurate tracking.
Work with the logistics team to optimize inventory turnover and minimize carrying costs.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Proven experience as a Plant Controller, Costing Controller, Financial Controller, or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
