This position will be placed for one of our business of PT Paramount Enterprise International.
Job Purpose:
The Plantation Director will oversee the development and management of vanilla and citronella plantations in Bogor and North Sulawesi. This role involves strategic planning, operational management, and ensuring the sustainable growth and profitability of the plantations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategies for the expansion and improvement of vanilla and citronella plantations.
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, including planting, cultivation, harvesting, and processing of crops.
- Resource Management: Ensure efficient use of resources, including land, labor, and equipment.
- Staff Supervision: Manage and train plantation staff, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety standards.
- Budgeting and Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure financial sustainability.
- Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards of crop production.
- Sustainability Practices: Promote and implement sustainable farming practices to enhance environmental conservation.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify opportunities for product diversification and expansion.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports to the COO on plantation performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in plantation management, preferably with vanilla and citronella crops.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of sustainable farming and horticultural practices.
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
