As our new Pre-Sales Engineer, you will have the opportunity to extend Crayon's reach in Indonesia through the expert cultivation of new, untapped business opportunities and relationships.Showcasing data engineering solutions to prospects & customers, your role involves understanding their needs, crafting data-driven & AI Powered solutions to support sales initiatives. Leveraging your data engineering expertise, you will utilize your technical knowledge to drive commercial conversations and help drive sales by providing technical solutions to address clients needs.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Driving long-term cloud adoption with Crayon cloud products and solutions
- Building, managing, and reporting a healthy pipeline while following up on leads
- Lead generation activities in collaboration with our account managers to manage opportunities, implement marketing campaigns and follow up after events
- Monitor customer preferences to have the right conversation with your customers (primarily on AWS solutions)
- Identify, through dialogue, how Crayon services and the vendor portfolio can add value to the customers
- Collaborate closely with teams to design solutions (focused on data) to support sales activities
Your Competencies:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role from the IT industry
- Experience with AWS solutions
- Technical role experience, ideally related to Data Platform, data engineering, cloud and Architecture
- Experience in pre-sales roles or pre-sales activities will be an advantage
